From Abortion Risks
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Path of Life, a reconciliation ministry of Life Services of Spokane, provides support and encouragement to those who have experienced trauma from abortion or sexual choices contrary to those found in the Bible. A Biblically based model centering on the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ is used to help women, men, friends and family members recover from the aftermath of abortion and unbiblical sexual choices.

Path of Life has been in existence for over 17 years in the Spokane, Washington metropolitan area. We offer support groups in confidential settings as well as one on one counseling for post abortive men, women and other post abortive family members. We have an experienced staff of trained lay counselor volunteers who offer groups on a continuous basis throughout the year. Groups are limited in size to eight members plus a facilitator and co-facilitator. Our group format is typically a weekend plus eight which means that the group will meet on a weeknight, an all day Saturday retreat followed by seven additional weeks. This is the typical format; however, format can be altered in an effort to best meet the needs of the majority of clients involved in a given group. Groups are offered in the evening as well as during the day to accommodate the schedules of our clients. Meetings are available at all three of our clinics; North Spokane, Spokane Valley and Cheney, as well as other locations throughout the Spokane Metropolitan Area.
