National Academies of Science Review

In 2018 the National Academies of Science published a report titled The Safety and Quality of Abortion Care in the United States. The committee preparing the report included known advocates for unrestricted abortion policies. The committee lacked any representation by experts in the field who are critical of abortion's purported safety.

Moreover, the report was funded exclusively by foundations that promote pro-abortion efforts, including:
